Live at Cobra since March 2025. I have been developing the system since April 2026.
01 / WHY THESE TWO
I want to improve the customer experience while keeping control of operations. This combination gives me two specialized systems and the freedom to build the business connections I need.
Sales, purchasing, inventory, deliveries and invoices: an extensible business foundation. Community is its open-source edition; at Cobra, we use Enterprise on Odoo.sh.
A platform built for selling: storefront, checkout, customer accounts and an app ecosystem. Its role in my architecture is to serve customers while Odoo organizes fulfillment.
Reading code, mapping workflows, investigating discrepancies and preparing fixes. APIs and extensions give agents ways to interact. Permissions, tests and approvals determine what they can do.
Find the choices, screenshots and practical ideas in the book.
02 / WHAT YOU GET
Accounts, addresses, products, variants, prices, discounts, inventory and merchandising: who owns what, who receives it, where to check.
Duplicate orders, uncertain remote outcomes, archived variants still for sale, missing invoices and repeated notifications.
Authorization, capture, invoices, credit notes, payments, fees, payouts, banking and reconciliation. The links that explain a sale.
18 steps to scope, connect, test, launch gradually and operate. Including restrictions and the recovery plan you need.
A practical guide you can read at your own pace.
04 / IN PRACTICE
Order status, supplier responses, invoices and payments: bring the information together and move between records without searching everywhere.
Price adjustments, direct shipping, replenishment and supplier follow-up: turn business rules into actions with clear limits.
Find an email, analyze an invoice, prepare a product or a payment batch. Specific permissions and human approvals govern each workflow.
These are examples from the project, with different levels of automation. The book explains the architecture, workflows and checks behind the integration.

Your first name, last name, email address, language, request and confirmation dates, and subscription choice are used to personalize our exchanges, verify your address, process your white paper request and retain evidence of your choice. First name, last name and email are required for this access process, based on our legitimate interest in responding to requests and protecting the service. Phone is optional: you can leave it as a contact method for our exchanges. It is not used for automated SMS. After confirmation, your details are saved in Brevo. The optional field-notes subscription relies on your consent. Downloading the guide does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Unconfirmed requests are deleted from the service after 2 days during daily cleanup. After confirmation, requests without a subscription are retained for 30 days; requests with a subscription for at most 1,095 days from confirmation, or until consent is withdrawn for sending messages. A daily cleanup deletes expired requests from the service and removes memberships from HL Consulting lists. Shared Brevo contacts are reviewed separately by Hugo to retain only other valid purposes. A fingerprint of the address is retained in a suppression list while the marketing system remains in use, to prevent inadvertent resubscription.
Access is limited to authorized HL Consulting staff and technical providers. The service uses Render and Scaleway; dedicated lists use Brevo within the HL Média / Haute Fidélité account. Your details are not added to magazine lists. Brevo hosts its databases in the European Union. Safeguards for any provider access or transfers outside the European Economic Area are described in their policies: Brevo, Render and Scaleway.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability, object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw consent at any time using the contact above. Each subscription email will include an unsubscribe link. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL. Brevo sends a confirmation email with a link valid for 24 hours. Explicit confirmation gives you access to the PDF; your subscription is confirmed only if you selected it. Brevo sending logs follow the retention configured in that service, separately from requests.
Version: 10 October 2026.
No. It’s an independent account of a real project, with official documentation references and a clear distinction between observed facts and planned improvements.
No. The book separates existing flows, deployed fixes and unfinished work. Invoice access, financial consistency and recovery paths still need end-to-end validation.
It means maintaining two systems, their costs and an integration. A simpler business may only need one tool. This book helps you ask the right questions before choosing.
